Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Home Visits
Home visits are made in emergencies or when the patient is too unwell to attend the surgery. Whenever possible please try to request home visits before 10.30am and be prepared to give some indication of the urgency of the problem. This enables your doctor to plan his or her day more efficiently.

Family Planning

A full range of contraceptive services is available by making an appointment with one of our qualified family planning nurses. If you wish to have an Implanon please make an appointment with Dr Warner, Dr Dhesi or Dr Bird. Coils are inserted by Dr Inman, Dr Dhesi and Dr Bird.

Cryotherapy

This service is offered by appointment with our Triage Nurse

We are a registered Yellow Fever Centre and provide a full range of travel vaccination services as well as travel pack.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required. There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Most travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because travel vaccination is not included in the services provided by the NHS and therefore is a chargeable service.

Tetanus

It is sensible for all adults to be fully immunised against tetanus. A full set of five injections should give lifelong immunity.

Flu Vaccinations

Available every autumn to our senior patients and anyone with a heart or respiratory disease, diabetes or other chronic conditions.
