The practice also employs locums on short-term contracts as need arises. These doctors are fully qualified and accredited to work in general practice. We also have a committment to training and there is usually a GP registrar attached. They are fully qualified doctors who must do a probationary period in general practice prior to applying for their own parternship. Parveen Baden – your new Clinical Pharmacist
Is the new Clinical Pharmacist at Croft Medical Centre. She will carry out medication reviews with patients taking 8 or more medications, to deal with any medication queries and provide advice on the most cost–effective drugs. She will support your GPs to improve patient care by ensuring all patients treatments are aligned to national and local clinical guidelines. This will help to ensure patients are receiving the latest evidence based care to gain the best clinical outcomes. It is all about the quality of care.
We will soon be inviting patients to attend appointments with Parveen to discuss their medication, if you are invited please bring along all your medication with you so that we can visualise our discussions.
